EVENT : FLYING COLOURS

RULES:

  • A team of four participants per school.

  • Participants must carry specific material they need. Basic material will be provided for each round.

 

 

Every painting has a story to tell. So bring out your brushes and splash your colors and come tell us your story in a three round competition which will require not only your artistic talent but your boundless creativity as well.

 

EVENT BRIEF

The event comprises of three stages. It requires a team of four people from each school. One person is required to participate in STAGE ONE, one person is required to participate in STAGE TWO and two people are required to participate in STAGE THREE. Three prizes will be distributed among the three stages.

 

ROUND ONE :- The participant will be given ONE sketching A3 sized paper to express his/her idea on the given topic/task in the best way possible using any artistic medium.

 

ROUND TWO:- This stage requires the participant to use his/her imagination to use craft work, origami to display the task given to each one of them, best. Materials will be given to each one of them based on the topics they receive.

 

ROUND THREE:- Stage three requires the two participants to go crazy with imagination. Use all their skill and knowledge to put up the perfect GRAFFITI piece. The participants will all be given ONE 1/2 canvas sheet, masking tape, newspaper, TWO spray cans. There will be NO SPECIFIC theme to this task.

Stage 1:

 

  • Sketching/painting details

  • Ideas/concept

 

Stage 2:

 

  • Neatness in work

  • Idea/concept and presentation

 

Stage 3:

 

  • Skill, creativity display

  • Presentation, consistency and decision making
