EVENT : RESONANCE

“Music is the art of thinking with sounds” - Jules Combarieu

RULES:

  • Every band can have a maximum of 8 members.

  • Extra marks will be awarded for original compositions

  • Time allotted: 10 minutes  + 5 minutes

  • A five piece drum kit will be provided; participants who need extra accessories are requested to bring these.

  • Amplifiers will be provided.

  • There are no genre requirements, participants are allowed to play any type of music.

  • First ten bands to register can participate.

Always wanted to ‘Knock on Heaven’s Door’, but never had the ‘Eye of the Tiger’? ‘Come As You Are’ and take the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ or witness yourself drive down the ‘Highway to Hell’. ‘It’s A Long Way to the Top’, but to have ‘Another Day in Paradise’ you have to bear the ‘November Rain’

and rock it out in the 10 minutes you and your band have on stage. Play music from any genre, any era, and set the stage ablaze with your band!
